I am not asking you to believe a word of this. It will change your life anyway.
I built and sold companies and raised over $352 million before I turned thirty. I had the success, the freedom, the answers other founders came looking for. I had no idea I was asleep.
What happened next still sounds like fiction to me. The world shut down, and after building a mental health company, I came apart in Manila. I started seeing the world’s dark side, and I lost my grip, cursing security, flipping off police. It was suggested I get some distance, so I went to Mexico.
And there, half a world away from it, the company I built decided to go on without me. I lost it, however losing it set me free.
Then one night in the jungle, a ceremony tore my reality to the ground and built a more magnificent one in its place. I walked through fire and was not burned. For the first time in my fast-paced life, I slowed down and smelled the roses. I learned that to go slow is to speed up, and that creating the space was the whole point. In that space, I finally started working on myself, and learning how to love myself. From a lifelong atheist to knowing that everything is God, and surrendering to the fact I was never the one in control.
The conditioning that runs us was installed before we could refuse it, and it can be reprogrammed. I found that out by tripping unconsciously down a journey I didn’t know existed. The moment I realised I was programmed, I realised I was programmable, and once I became a conscious participant in my own programming, everything got better, and better.
You might get to find out the easy way: by turning the page.
